I had a look at the link you attached above and tried downloading it manually using the update assistant. But it's tell me I can't download it this way because I need a net work administrator at my work place to allow for this upgrade to happen. This would be because of the Enterprise Edition I have.
So I will have to take my laptop to work and access the network and try that way. I'm just wondering if that is the issue with the update through windows update. Perhaps I need to be connected to their network to get this to download properly. Will have to ask the IT experts at work to see if this may be the issue. Windows 10 Enterprise cannot be upgraded with Update assistant or tool.
The only way is to contact system admin of your department regarding the updates. There are some factors that may affect the behavior of your Windows computer. Sometimes, it may be caused by some configuration or files mismatched. After it installed if my driver for my HP Laserjet quit working. After disconnecting from the domain, I can confirm that the update went through without any issue, however the user profile is broken due to the disconnection from the domain, here is a few things I noticed. If I edit the registry entry so the new profile uses the previous User folder it seem to work but its hard to say If we will end up having problems in the future because of that. However I am not familiar with samba system. You could also contact samba support to see if any idea. Since by default, disconnect from domain and reconnect, the user profile that exists should not be recreated. And the upgrade fails only occurred under domain joined.
